Monday

Magnificent day in the park today, a relief from what we have had to endure in the preceding days. I stayed a little longer today and was amazed by the amount of activity that was going on in the park. I don't think I've ever seen the place that busy before.

Congratulations to all those people who braved the rain and lightning to stand on Yokine Hill to watch the Australia Day fireworks display over 10 kilometres away in the city. You are braver people than I. I hope you didn't get too much rain water in your beer.
